Everyone has their favorite candy bar; the one they look for in the supermarket checkout line, the one they hope is crushed up and ready to top their sundae at the ice cream shop. 

This traditional Jewish mandel bread recipe has been passed down in my family for four generations. It tastes wonderful with a cup of coffee, hot cocoa or milk.
